Dan Dick is a Michigan State University Extension tree fruit specialist based at the Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center near Benton Harbor. 

Dan completed his master's degree in horticulture at MSU, working with Joshua VanderWeide. During his graduate studies, his research focused on the impact of Phytohormones on fruit quality and ripening of Northern Highbush Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum).
